The custom-designed Apple iPod touch holder magnetically connects to the VELscope, making attachment a simple process. The dedicated application (available from the Apple ® App Store TM ) automatically configures the device for flourescence photography once the adapter is connected to the VELscope. When the holder is detached from the VELscope, the iPod touch is instantly optimized for white light photography, allowing for flash or continuous illumination image capture.
